You’re Walking!!
That’s right! Today you took more than a few steps and walked all the way to Daddy! You did such a great job and Daddy and Mommy are so proud.
You continue to amaze us all of the time, and I know things are about to get even better. Walking is going to bring you a whole new world of freedom.. and we can’t wait to watch you explore it!

Happy Easter!
Happy 1st Easter, Ashlyn! ♥
Last year you were still in Mommy’s belly on Easter and decided to show up 2 days after. This year though, you’re here to celebrate it with us.
Daddy and I took you to see the Easter Bunny, on your 1st birthday. You loved him from afar, but didn’t really care for him up close. You would wave and blow him kisses, but wanted nothing to do with sitting on his lap. So Daddy and Mommy joined you and we had your first Easter Bunny picture take together.

In 7 days…
You will be ONE.
There is no more denying it. It’s happening whether I like it or not. You’re growing up. When I think about it, it makes me both happy and sad. I am so happy that Daddy and I have been blessed to have you in our lives for the last year (almost year!) and I am so happy that I am your Mommy and you are my Daughter. I am so happy with the little lady you have become in just a year. You are the best thing ever! ♥ Then I am sad because my baby is becoming a toddler. I’m sad because I wish you could stay little forever…but I know you have to grow up. I’m sure one day I will be okay with that. Until that day though, you’re always going to be my baby. ♥
So Mommy is going to enjoy this last week of baby-hood before you enter the toddler-hood world.

Happy St. Patrick’s Day!
Today is Ashlyn’s 1st St. Patrick’s Day and she just wanted to say Happy St. Patrick’s Day to everyone! She also wanted to wish her Nana a very special Happy Birthday!

Only 1 more month…
until you are ONE! Today you are 11 months old! Mommy is already starting to plan your 1st birthday party! I can’t believe that it’s time. In just 1 short month, you’re going to be a toddler! As I’ve said before though, you’ll always be my baby. You are becoming more independent. You know what you want, that’s for sure. You’re walking all over the place with your Dinosaur. You’re doing such a great job! I know you’ll be walking all by yourself in no time. You are also finally giving Daddy and Mommy kisses! We are beyond excited! You have been giving your toys and animals kisses forever, but on Valentine’s Day you gave Daddy kisses before bed. ♥ He was so happy. He has been waiting 11 months for those kisses. You gave Mommy kisses the next day. You gave me good morning kisses. Since then you have been a little kissing machine! And on February 25th, you stood all by yourself! We were out to dinner and you were standing on the table and Daddy let you go and you just stood there. It was an exciting moment for Daddy and I. You’re getting so big! Happy 11 months, lil’monkey! We love you! ♥

Happy Valentine’s Day!
Today is your 1st Valentine’s Day! Daddy came home early and brought you a balloon. He sent Mommy a text message and said he stopped and got you a small balloon. I thought that was so sweet because you LOVE balloons! Every time we go somewhere and they have balloons, you always just stare at them with a smile on your pretty face. So Daddy came home early to take us to lunch and brought you your “small” balloon. ♥
As you can see, it’s not exactly small!
