I now weigh about 2 1/2 pounds (like a butternut squash) and am a tad over 15 inches long from head to heel. My muscles and lungs are continuing to mature, and my head is growing bigger to make room for my developing brain. Because my bones are soaking up lots of calcium, mommy needs to drink lots of milk (or find another good source of calcium, such as cheese, yogurt, or enriched orange juice). This trimester, about 250 milligrams of calcium are deposited in my body’s hardening skeleton each day.

You’re getting so big sweetie! This last week you discovered Momma’s ribs. It’s not very comfy for Momma…but Daddy says that you’re leasing the space for 9 months so I have to let you do what you want. ♥ I love being able to feel where you are and your kicks, punches, jabs and whatever else it is that you’re doing in there bring a big smile to Momma’s face. I can’t wait to see you. Momma loves you Ashlyn! ♥
Your TMP auntie Sonja is very excited to hear that you are growing up so big and strong! I can’t wait to “meet you”. <3
